Even though you’re in college, and you’re independent, and you might not even see your parents at all, always remember to keep in touch. Every single day most parents think about their kids at least once, so remember that when they text you out of the blue for no reason. Don’t get annoyed and think they’re being naggy, respond, and be sweet because it’ll only ease their pain. They created you. They nourished you. And they lived with you for 18/19 years, and then they had to let you go. You should thank them and appreciate them for everything any chance you get, even the little things. When they send you something you forgot or when they text you a sweet how’s your day, make sure you show your love. Put yourself in their shoes cause one day you will be, and you won’t want to regret how you treated them.
