6. Professors who put trick questions on the final, thinking they are clever

Seriously trick questions are the worse. I don’t want to get a question wrong because the teacher worded it confusingly, and don’t even try to say I should have read it closely when I have 2 hours to do 150 multiple choice questions and 3 essay questions. Professors who do this need to know they aren’t clever, they are just pissing students off.

7. Professors who didn’t give a single extra credit opportunity all semester

When it comes down to finals week and you may not have the best grade it is so frustrating that nothing can be done. Extra credit is life support for your grades. It is dumb if you don’t take advantage of it, but even worse when professors don’t offer it or allow you to do any.

8. Professors who have their final in the last possible time slot and refuse to move it

Oh, the final is at 6 on the last day of finals? No that’s totally fine I’m sure none of the class wants to get home, don’t worry. Professors have the power to move their finals so why would they put their students through torture like this. I swear to god, at 6 on the last day of finals the absolute last thing I am thinking about is this ridiculous test.

9. Professors who give impossibly long finals

“It’s going to be 100 multiple choice, 50 fill in the blank, maybe some matching, 10 short answers about paragraph, and then 2 essays at least a page.” Yup thats fine I am sure my wrist won’t break trying to do all that in just a few hours. Seriously there has to be away that professors who make super long tests can condense them at least a little.

10. Professors who suddenly decide the final should be incredibly hard even though their class was easy

If I feel like I learned next to nothing in the class because the professor didn’t teach or had super easy assignments than that’s how the final should be too. There is no excuse for a hard final when the rest of the semester has been pretty much a joke.
